Login to Back Office > from the left menu go to ‘Settings’ > click on ‘Shop Settings’ from sub-menu of ‘Settings’ > select shop from ‘Select Store’ option > enable switch ’’

(i.e. On) for ‘Item wise tax’  > as the last step click on ‘Save settings’ > now you can add tax for any item while creating an item (enable item wise tax ) from the back office
